Biogeochemical Analytical Service Laboratory carries out trace level organic analysis for EPA 16 priority Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs), alkylated homologous families of PAH, and dibenzothiophene compounds in matrixes such as water, sediment/soil, and biological tissues

Biogeochemical Analytical Service Laboratory currently houses the following instruments for trace level organic analysis:

Agilent 7890 Gas Chromatography/7693A Tandem Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS/MS)
Agilent 6890N Gas Chromatography/5973 Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS)
Varian CP 3800 Gas Chromatography
Gilson GX-271 Gel Permeation Chromatography clean up
Dionex ASE 350 Accelerated Solvent Extractor
